The Baha'i faith is eclectic and cosmopolitan and has the second most global geographical spread. The House of Worship has been designed as a half open lotus surrounded by leaves. It is surrounded by nine pools and covers an area of 26.6 acres. The lotus is the national flower of India and has deep cultural resonance within the Indian tradition.
