Masjid Kampong Siglap, 2000

As revealed by the name of the mosque, Masjid Kampong Siglap is located where the village Kampong Siglap used to be. Built in 1992, the design of this mosque was inspired by a Malay village house - with its prominent use of wood, Malay motifs and sloping roofs, although on a more monumental scale.
